Brick & Stone Solid Walls

Many older buildings in the UK are constructed with solid brick walls or have been built using natural stone.  At the time when these buildings were constructed the requirements for insulation did not exist and the building relied on the thermal mass of the wall to provide protection from changing temperatures.
